Cala Millor

Extending along a lengthy 6 kilometre coastline in the north-east of Mallorca, Cala Millor is a vibrany family holiday resort which in the summertime witnesses a beach full of sunbathers and children paddling in the gentle waters. It is also a well-equipped water sports centre. In the busy summer period the palm-shaded promenade is alive with cyclists and roller skaters, although much quieter in other seasons.

Cala Millor boasts a fantastic award-winning beach of white sand in a wide, sheltered bay, embraced by a rocky headland at either end. The beach is justifiably popular with holidaymakers with it’s straw sunshades, calm sea ideal for paddling, and perfect sand ideal for children. The water sports in Cala Millor are second to none, including a windsurfing school.

Behind the seafront, a pedestrianised area is full of shops selling clothes, leather goods and souvenirs. It also boasts a large variety of restaurants with something for all tastes, from local dishes to international cuisine. The area of the beach has many bars and clubs which during the summer nights erupt with Spanish and international sounds.

But Cala Millor is more than just a beach. Away from the sea the town offers a host of activities. For those with children there is Fantasy Park with its bouncy castles and trampolines, and two go-kart tracks just nearby. There is also a well-known riding school offering horseback treks into the mountains and as many as four golf courses each within a 20-minute drive.
